1. Area should be clean and dry.

2. Use a high grade, 100 percent silicone with a mildew resistant additive.

3. Using a caulking gun, apply a bead of silicone into the seam.

4. Spray silicone bead with denatured alcohol to prevent smearing when wiping off excess. Denatured alcohol can be purchased at a hardware store and put into a spray bottle.

5. Spread evenly using finger.

6. Clean excess off finger using paper towels.

7. Allow silicone to dry 24 hours before using. Do not touch or get wet while drying.
